This sophisticated and attractive space includes stately windows overlooking historic South State Street. In the evening a picturesque view of Legislative Hall creates a perfect backdrop for the most intimate of events. This carpeted hall provides an elegant setting for receptions, meetings, lectures, banquets, press conferences and more. The room's flexibility allows it to be designed in various configurations while maintaining its grace and elegance.




The Schwartz Center's most flexible space. This room has the capacity to handle the technical needs of cabaret style performances, readings, business presentations, rehearsals, and more. Wide, open, and airy, the Ballroom can be comfortably used for meetings, workshops, displays and demonstrations. Immediately adjacent to our serving kitchen, this hall is an outstanding site for a reception or party.





A gorgeous restoration of the 1904 Opera House, this charming and majestic theatre seats 552 very comfortably, with 312 seats in first floor orchestra section, 180 seats in the third floor Mezzanine and 60 seats in the balcony. This performance venue is fully equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems that allow a magical atmosphere to be created for any type of performance, ceremony, or presentation. While our stage is ideal for presenting plays, concerts, and dance, it also serves as an excellent venue for movies, lectures, conferences, graduations, or any appropriate public forum. The auditorium and stage can be transformed to fit the needs of almost any request with options of adding an orchestra pit, stage extension, or three additional rows of seating in the orchestra. Both the orchestra and Mezzanine/Balcony sections are handicapped accessible.





Located on the 3rd floor by the Ball Room, this quaint space is ideal for smaller meetings. The array of pictures offer a sophisticated yet intimate setting. There is a hide-a-bar behind a set of double doors with direct access to the catering kitchen. When needed or desired it can be opened to distribute a vast array of refreshments; or, you can opt to have it closed and concealed by the doors. This room makes a great addition as cocktail lounge when having larger events in the Ballroom.
